rincess Miriam Kapili Likelike Kekaukuohi's father was Kapaakea and her mother was Keohokalole, a sister of King Kalakaua, Queen Liliuokalani and Prince Leleihoku.
The Princess lived on the big island of Hawaii. She later moved to Honolulu and married a Scottish merchant named Archibald Scott Cleghorn on September 22, 1870, from this marriage she had only one child, Princess Victoria Kaiulani, who was born on October 16, 1875. Later she returned to the Big Island and became the governor of Hawaii in 1879.
Like her royal siblings, she loved music and composed several songs such as the the famous Ainahau, which was sung about her residence in Waikiki where her family would gather to sing.
Princess Likelike died on February 2, 1887 at age 36, from an unknown illness, Upon her death, her daughter, Princess Kaiulani became the last royal blood heir to the throne of the Kalakaua Dynasty.
